The upper part of the camera has been replaced three times due to the malfunction of the mode dial
(indicated by ♀). Like other electronic products, the camera consists of some modules and each modue
consists of several electronic parts. Thus, The failure of a single part means the replacement of
its whole housing, module. When the dial had broken down first and second times, the replacement
was free thanks to the warranty. Upon its third failure, Olympus suggested me an option of
purchasing a new camera in the same model at 160k won in 2019. Now, the dial returns to
the original status of its material again after the failure of the shutter box group with shutter blade curtain.
